I hate school. I need to work harder, yet I can't imagine myself working harder than I already am. Thank goodness for weekends. Those two days barely keep me sane. That and my friends. Only a week before exams. Bleh. I'm going to die.

People have been so depressed lately. It makes me sad that I can't do anything to help. Like, my friend was really upset about grades, and I felt awful because I couldn't do anything to change it. I'm not a control-freak, really, I just hate seeing people unhappy. And feeling helpless. Life shouldn't have to be this way.

Also, people are jerks. But what else is new.
I don't know, maybe I'm just nice. But I feel like a jerk sometimes. It's hard to explain. I feel like I play favorites with my friends. I don't mean to. I just have an all-time best friend and a really-close-second-best friend. Then I feel like a jerk when I talk to the all-time best friend more than the second-best. Does that make sense? I don't know, I feel obligated to keep people happy. But I usually fail.

Oh em gee, people of DA. I should write a poem. I totally forgot the deadline for the poetry contest was today. Oh well, I can turn it in next week, since I'm in creative writing anyway.
